Decorate stones with different techniques
On this occasion use a combination of techniques to decorate this stone. For the hummingbird I used acrylic paints and I painted it by hand, however for the flowers I used the decoupage technique.
What is decoupage?
The term decoupage (or découpage) has its origin in the French word découper, which means to cut. It is a decorative manual technique in which cut paper is used with some design that is applied on various surfaces.
Using temporary tattoos
The interesting thing about this technique is that you can also use stickers and temporary tattoos.
In my case, I used temporary tattoos with floral design, the application is very easy and a great option for people who are beginning to decorate stones.
The procedure is the next
First I put the temporary tattoo on the flower, then I painted the hummingbird and finished sealing with a shine spray.
