Today we made a simple and quickly DIY with a lot of style: a picture of birds in stones. This is an image that we usually see and that I like very much.

On this occasion they are stones easy to find and I assure you that your painting will be special and unique.

Materials

To make this stone DIY you will need these materials:

• 7 small stones with a oval shape
  
• 7 very small stones for triangular peaks
  
• A few stones of different shapes for flowers
  
• 2 sticks or branches for posts
  
• Fine Brush (you can also use a marker)
  
• Acrylic paints of different colors
  
• Black thread
  
• Scissors
  
• Hot glue or silicone
  
• A framework for a picture

Step by step to make this beautiful picture with birds

Before starting this DIY you must protect the place where you go to work so that it does not spoil. Now you are ready to start!

1. Wash the stones

Although this time we do not apply paint, if we wash to prepare the stones, then put the glue and varnish.

2 y 3. Trim the sheet to fit it

Cut out a custom cardboard from the frame to make the picture.

4. Stick black thread or paint with marker

We have used black wire, but if you find it easier, you can use a ruler and paint with a fine marker two lines where birds will go.

 * Place the stones on the bottom

Place the stones and glue them with silicone or glue. Later it draws the legs of the birds.

5. Color the branches

In this case we had a few sticks of light color, to highlight them we have chosen to color them in a more realistic way with acrylic paints of colors green, brown and gold. After you have prepared the branches, stick them on the ends of the picture

6. Paint the flowers with the brush

With the fine brush and green paint, paint the flowers on the bottom as in the photo and make the leaves. Make also the eyes of the birds. For this you can help with a toothpick if it is easier for you than with the brush.

7. Paint the pebbles of the flowers

Paint small details of the flowers.

8. To finish apply varnish

To protect this craft of stone birds, apply a couple of layers of varnish, in this case we have used a spray varnish to achieve a better result.
